Shoreline Management Area Map

Open the Shoreline Management Map PDF

The Rough River Lake Shoreline Management Map is produced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and provides a broad overview of the lake’s shoreline layout, including subdivisions, recreation areas, boat ramps, major roads, shoreline management zones, and protected shoreline areas around Rough River Lake.

This map is especially useful for lake property owners, buyers, dock permit holders, contractors, and anyone trying to better understand how the Corps manages different portions of the shoreline around the lake. It also helps identify the general location of subdivisions and recreation areas throughout Rough River Lake.

The map includes:

  • Shoreline management zone boundaries
  • Limited development and protected shoreline areas
  • Boat ramps and recreation areas
  • Campgrounds and state park areas
  • Major roads and access routes
  • Subdivision reference numbers and names
  • Summer pool shoreline outline

Because this map was last updated in 2017, some subdivision names, shoreline conditions, and recreation area details may have changed since publication. It should be used as a general reference tool and not as a substitute for official permit verification or direct guidance from the Rough River Lake Corps of Engineers office.

This map is provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District.
