Choose the right site
Current Recreation.gov listings include electric-with-water and non-electric campsites. Hookups, pad lengths and vehicle limits vary by site.
The swimming area is reserved for registered campground guests.
Recreation.gov currently identifies two accessible campsites. Call the campground if a specific accessible route or facility is important to your stay.
Lake access
Ramp and shoreline notes
Kentucky Fish & Wildlife lists a paved, multiple-lane ramp with paved parking and a courtesy dock. A launch fee is listed; check the current amount with the campground.
TARR local access note: Axtel's newer third ramp reaches the lake at winter pool. Axtel and State Park Marina are the lake's two winter-pool launch options.
