TARR links to those sources and identifies when a resource is official, a reference, a third-party aid, or a locally organized guide.
Label live information
Lake and weather readings show their source, the time reported by that source when available, and whether a value is current, delayed, or unavailable. The time TARR checks a feed is not presented as the source’s observation time.
Report news with evidence
News stories link to the official releases, public records, or other primary material behind factual claims whenever those sources are available. Publication and update dates are retained so readers can tell when the information changed.
Review events before publishing
Community event submissions do not appear automatically. Dates, locations, and organizer information are reviewed before an event is approved, and readers are directed to the organizer or venue when final details may change.
Treat maps and directories as planning aids
Business listings, map pins, and access notes are checked against available sources, but they can become outdated. TARR does not imply that every listed place is open, publicly accessible, endorsed, or affiliated. Readers should confirm time-sensitive details directly before traveling.
Correct meaningful errors
Credible corrections are reviewed against the best available source. Material factual changes should be reflected in the page and, for news stories, in the visible update date. Minor spelling or formatting changes do not need to be presented as a new report.
