Why TARR exists
Information about Rough River Lake is spread across government pages, reservation systems, business listings, weather feeds, maps, and community sources. TARR organizes those starting points so people who live at, visit, fish, and boat on the lake can find useful information more easily.
Accuracy over appearances
Live readings identify their source and report time. Guides show review dates and link to the source that controls when a rule, permit, reservation, or public-access decision can change. When a reliable value is unavailable, TARR aims to say so instead of presenting an estimate as current fact.
Independent, not official
TARR is not a government website and is not the controlling authority for lake operations, permits, regulations, closures, or public safety. It is not affiliated with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, Kentucky State Parks, or a listed business unless a relationship is expressly stated.
Local businesses and organizations
Directory and map listings are provided to help people plan a lake visit. Inclusion does not by itself mean sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation. Current hours, access, availability, and services should be confirmed directly with the listed organization.
Real estate is clearly identified
When the site offers Rough River Lake real-estate help, it identifies Alissa Doan, Red Edge Realty, and the applicable Kentucky license information. That service is kept distinct from ordinary editorial coverage and directory inclusion.
