Details worth checking
Fuel, food, rental and staffed dock hours are seasonal. Nick's published pages currently show conflicting hours, so call the main number for the day you plan to visit.
The official rental system can be used to check pontoon dates. For kayak or paddleboard questions, the rentals page lists 502-649-2572.
The marina is beside the public Axtel launch, but marina services and public ramp access are separate.
The adjacent Axtel public access is a paved, multiple-lane fee ramp with paved parking and a courtesy dock. Kentucky Fish & Wildlife lists the public ramp year-round and open 24 hours.
The marina's seasonal service schedule does not change the public ramp listing.
TARR local access note: Axtel's newer third ramp reaches the lake at winter pool. That does not mean marina fuel, food or rental service is staffed year-round.

Kentucky Fish & Wildlife lists accessible parking and restrooms at the neighboring Axtel public launch. Nick's does not publish enough detail to confirm accessible marina boarding or routes.
